TEFAF is a non-profit foundation dedicated to promoting expertise and diversity within the international art world, reflected in the carefully selected exhibitors at its two annual fairs in Maastricht and New York. Serving as a guide for private and institutional collectors alike, TEFAF inspires art enthusiasts and collectors around the globe.
This marks the fifth year of collaboration between Design & Practice and TEFAF, with each edition extending creative boundaries and elevating TEFAF through a distinctive visual identity. Design & Practice supports TEFAF in translating its rich legacy of exceptional art and antiquities into a cohesive creative vision across digital, print, and city-wide advertising.
Design & Practice developed a visual identity that offers audiences a distinctive way to engage with the artworks presented at the fair. The TEFAF New York campaign was conceived as a continuation of the earlier TEFAF Maastricht campaign, establishing a visual and conceptual connection between the two editions. Drawing on themes of nature and florals, the identity brings together collage-style compositions that combine varied techniques and detailed elements from artworks that are currently or were previously shown at TEFAF.
TEFAF is internationally recognised as the leading fair for fine art, antiques, and design, uniting over 7,000 years of art history in a single setting. With more than 260 distinguished dealers representing around 20 countries, TEFAF presents a curated selection of the finest works available on the market today. In addition to its core sections devoted to Old Master paintings, antiques, and classical antiquities. The event also features modern and contemporary art, photography, jewelry, 20th-century design, and works on paper.
Each edition of the fair was also accompanied by a range of printed materials for visitors, including invitations, magazines, floor plans, fair guides, and additional assets.
